Their sixth level ability is literally called embodiment of law. I'll also throw Order domain Cleric as another option even though you didn't list it. I'm a bigger fan of dipping 3 levels into warlock than most, but the classic 2 level dip is probably best. If you're sticking to these two classes I also wouldn't want to give up silver tongue, so I like the MC a lot. I also like that Eldritch Blast + Agonizing blast and Hex can be used to prop up a build that is otherwise built heavily towards concept and out of combat RP.
I would probably multi-class as I really like the Devil's Advocate style character (if you haven't seen that movie, I would highly recommend it as inspiration for your character concept) and fiend pact is just perfect for it. Hmm I think the the fiend pact warlock works from a story perspective really well, but the eloquence bard works better from a mechanical perspective.
